Buyer Questionnaire
Adopting a puppy is a serious decision. To ensure that your family is ready for the responsibilities and work that are involved in caring for a dog, please answer the following questions:
- Why do you want a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel?
- Do any of your friends or relatives own a Cavalier?
- Have you every owned a dog?
- Do you have any other pets at this time? What are they? Cats, birds, dogs?
- Who are the members of your family? Do you have children? If so, what are their ages?
- Do you have a fenced yard? (This is not a requirement)
- Do you live in an apartment, condo or patio home?
- Puppies require housetraining. We give several pages of instructions with each puppy as well as ‘tech support’ after the placement, but the new owner does need patience and persistence to properly housetrain a puppy of any breed. This usually takes about 6 months. Is someone available to socialize and train the puppy?
- Does anyone in the family have allergies to dogs or cats?
